CL is probably one of my favorite K-Pop stars ever. I love her style, fashion sense, and her confidence! She's such a fierce girl and I ALWAYS love her makeup and hair. After seeing the 2NE1 music video, "Come Back Home", I knew I had to try and replicate her look. I love the idea behind the "Come Back Home" music video and I literally can't stop listening to it! Here's my video tutorial on CL's look! :)
Now let me go ahead and show you the products I used for this look! :)
Prior to filming, I'd already applied my foundation and filled in my eyebrows. I used the same techniques I showed in my Korean Ulzzang Style Eyebrows Tutorial :)
Here's a close up of the eyeshadows. The top left eyeshadow looks a little bit more brown in the pictures but in "real life", this is a more grey that has a brown tone to it. The top right eyeshadow is a light gold color, the bottom left eyeshadow is a cream colored matte eyeshadow, and the bottom right eyeshadow is a cool-toned matte brown. It looks really red in the picture but again, in "real life" it's much more cool-toned.
These are the lashes that I used! I bought these off of a Ebay for a couple of bucks (sorry I can't remember the seller's name :( ) These are fairly natural looking lashes with a bit of a flare at towards the end.
The concealer I used was the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in "Medium".
The brush I used in my crease was a pointed crease brush from Coastal Scents. (I also did a review on some other Coastal Scents and Crown Brush Brushes!)
For my eyeliner, I used the Essence Long Lasting Eyeliner in "Black".
For my liquid liner, I used the Almay Liquid Liner.
For my lashes, I used the Revlon Lash Potion Mascara.
To prime my eyelids, I used the NYX HD Eyeshadow Primer.
On my cheeks, I used MAC's "Blush Baby" blush.
For my bronzer and contour, I used ELF's "Warm" Bronzer.
For my highlight, I used MAC's Beauty Powder in "Shell Pearl".
Finally, for my lips, I used MAC's CremeSheen lipstick in "Ever Hip".
I really hope you enjoyed this tutorial and be sure to follow this blog and subscribe to The Beauty Breakdown so you can be notified the next time I post something :) I post often so it's definitely worth it...especially because it's FREE and helps me out a ton ;)

Here is my new video for my makeup look inspired by Taeyeon in the Girls' Generation music video "Mr. Mr.". Thanks Soshi Girl for requesting this look! It was so fun and it's such a pretty look :)
By the way, don't forget to check out my other K-POP makeup tutorial! It's a look inspired by Park Gyuri's makeup in the Kara music video "Pandora"!
xoxo, Morgan
The eyeshadows that I used in this look was a shimmery gold color (bottom left) a medium matte brown with a red undertone (bottom middle), a light matte brown with an orange undertone (bottom right), and a charcoal grey color (top middle).
For my eyeliner, I used the Essence long lasting eyeliner in black, the Rimmel London Scandaleyes liner in Brown, and the Revlon Lash Potion mascara.
For my ombre lips, I used the baby lips balm in the hot pink color and the Revlon Laquer Balm in Flirtatious.
Finally, for my skin, I prepped my face with the Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre. For foundation, I mixed the Neutrogena Healthy Skin foundation with the Mac Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel. I then concealed with Maybelline's Fit Me concealer in Medium and used Tarte's Cheek Stain in Flush.
Don't forget to check out the video tutorial above and my channel, The Beauty Breakdown! By subscribing, rating, and commenting on my videos, you really support what I'm doing and keep me super motivated! Love all of you who have done this so far :)

Hope your week is going well! Here's my video tutorial on how to recreate the look Park Gyuri from Kara wore in the music video "Pandora"! It's a simple look that focuses on heavy, edgy eyeliner. What I really love about this look is that it really opens up the eye and makes it look bigger, without the obvious use of fake eyelashes or a heavy under eye highlight. Be sure to subscribe so you'll be updated on my next K-Pop or Korean Beauty video! I'll be making a lot more videos :)
Don't forget to check out the other videos/posts related to Korean Makeup Trends! I'll show you how to get Korean Style Straight Eyebrows like another popular K-POP group (2NE1) and how to get a Korean Style Gradient Lip!

Here is the next video in my Korean Makeup Tutorials series! Right now, I'm focusing on the Ulzzang look, which in Korean literally translates into "best face". This look focuses on appearing youthful, fresh, cute, and innocent. Straight eyebrows are consistent with the Ulzzang appearance because straight eyebrows soften your face and make the features on your face look less harsh. The fuller look of the brows also make you look more youthful. However, a lot of Korean women shave their eyebrows in a straight line in order to achieve this look, which for some, is not a realistic choice. Instead of having to shave your eyebrows, I'll show you how simple it is to achieve the Korean Ulzzang Straight Eyebrows without having to actually shave them! :)
Try out this look and be sure to tweet me a pic! :) I'd love to see your rendition! @morgansbbd
It's that simple! Lots of Korean celebrities rock this look including the girls from the K-pop group 2NE1! (AKA my favorite K-pop group of the moment!)

| Here's CL rocking the straight eyebrow look. Here's have a little more arch, but are still soft and natural looking. No wonder why she's the baddest female! |

| You can see Dara's eyebrows also look nice and natural. Instead of looking harsh, they frame her face while maintaining her "innocent" look! |
